World Car Free Day is this Thursday 22nd September.

This Thursday is an international celebration of reducing air pollution. Join us in the celebrations by participating in World Car Free Day - encourage your staff and managers!

Use public transport, ride your bike, paddle your waka, or walk. Aim to swap at least one car trip for a 'car free' option. For many of us living in the regions and working in an office this may mean a remote work day. For others living rurally in New Zealand this may be a challenge, it's a time to reflect on how we could do things differently - Electric bike?

The event highlights the numerous benefits of going car-free - including reduced air pollution and the promotion of walking and cycling in a safer environment. Check out the United Nations story for more details.

Let your workplace know about World Car Free Day and create awareness around transport emissions.
